    Description

Here’s a really unique and versatile surplus/salvage unit. This heavy duty, industrial
gearmotor was originally used to simultaneously
drive the wire puller/feeder rolls on a machine that stripped, cut, and crimped terminals on electrical wire leads.
    BUT!
Consider the possible uses for a set-up like this!
You could power a wire/cable stripper and drive BOTH the “V” CRADLE WHEEL as well as the CUTTER WHEEL at exactly the same VARIABLE speed for very positive wire feed via a full 1/2HP gearmotor. (many wire/cable stripping machines are using only a 1/4HP motor)
You could power TWO rotisserie spits with precise speed control from the same motor and power from a 120 volt wall plug. (The DC power supply and variable speed board are housed in the end of the motor.)
Includes the original variable speed rheostat that was mounted in the operator control panel.

Please Note: Between the gearbox output shaft and the dual PTO flex shaft drive is an electric “clutch”. I powered this clutch with 24VDC which is all I have to test with at the moment. The clutch engages but “slips” under load. I believe it requires more than 24VDC. (no tag on clutch) The clutch serves no real purpose at this point and could be easily replaced with an inexpensive, Lovejoy type “rubber spider” motor coupling.
