Description
Immaculate vintage condition; sole flaw was a hole on the right sleeve that was professionally rewoven and is now invisible—not a cheap fix by any means, but vital to keeping this gorgeous jacket a wearable piece of menswear history (please see photos).An Ivy Style herringbone Harris Tweed jacket from Chipp, famous for being JFK's tailor, c.1968-1972. All the classic features save a hook vent: 3-roll-2 lapel with leather buttons; natural shoulders; 2 buttons per sleeve; half-lined; undarted front; swelled edges & lapped seams; and hidden throat latch.
