    Description

This tailcoat is of a moderately heavy, almost twill-type, fabric. With a date of September 14, 1906, and the tailor's and customer's name on the labels, it's lined with black silk, the sleeves with white silk.
It has notched lapels, four buttons in front, but no closures, being meant to be worn open.
It's 37" around at the chest, 17 3/4" between the shoulder seams in back, 38 1/8" long overall, in back, collar seam to bottom of the tails in back. The sleeve is 23 1/4".
Good to very good condition. There are some spots of color loss around the back collar, mostly around the fold line.
These can be seen in the pics.
There are some spots of very subtle color loss to the right sleeve area, these do not show in the photos.
The white silk lining has some deterioration and light discoloration, the black silk with some discoloration, also in the underarm area.
I have also provided photos of these areas above.
I will be listing similar jackets and other men's outerwear items through the summer.
International bidders might be charged Delivery, Customs, or VAT, in addition to my own shipping charges, once an item has entered your country. Please contact your local customs or post office, before you bid, if you have questions about these charges.
