Excellent vintage condition.
A beautifully soft and hardy navy wool flannel jacket. Notable details include: two-button closure; no lapel button hole; center vent; three pockets, two slanted and flapped hip pockets; fully-lined and fully-canvassed; 4 functioning buttons per sleeve (surgeon’s cuffs); 2 interior pockets; hand-attached collar and hand-rolled lapels. Interior labels include “Giacomo Trabalza - Beverly Hills - Milano”, and a personalized label for “Mr. Jeff Katzenberg” dated “01/10/91”. Giacomo Trabalza (1922-2009) was one of Los Angeles’ most renowned bespoke tailors and outfitted many Hollywood stars during his four-decade-long career there. Jeffrey Katzenberg (1950-) is an accomplished producer and executive known for his work at Walt Disney Studios and DreamWorks Animation; this jacket was made for him the same year as his film Beauty and the Beast was released.
