This listing is for a vintage 1950's men's blue wool tuxedo jacket.
The jacket is made from a very fine dark blue wool with black stain lapel facing. It has a typical 1950's tuxedo cut with rounded shawl collar lapels, no pocket flaps, boxy fit, and a single-button front, the latter of which is black synthetic and it also has three per cuff. It is fully lined in a black synthetic material and the shoulders are lightly padded.
The jacket is in quite good condition - especially for the age, and aside from one small rip in the lining (not pictured), the rest of the jacket appears to have almost no flaws.
The brand and a very nice 1950's Union label is present. No size or fabric content is present.
No size is marked, so our measurements are as follow:
Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 22.5"
Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 21.25"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 25.5"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 19"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 31"
