This listing is for a vintage 1960's men's black formal suit jacket.
The jacket is made from a very interesting fabric - the content of which we are unsure about - which has a neat uneven weave with slubs woven in. The lapels are faced in a nice, shiny synthetic fabric. It has a fashionable 1960's cut with narrow, rounded lapels and pocket flaps, but with a single-button front, the latter of which is black synthetic and it also has two per cuff. It is fully lined in a black synthetic material and the shoulders are padded.
The jacket is in used, but very good, condition. It does not have any rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc. that we could find!
Jacket bears the brand, seller, region of origin, size, original owner's information (which is blank), and 1960's Union labels.
Jacket is marked as a US men's 42 - X-Long. Our measurements are as follow:
Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 23"
Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 21"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 24"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 17.5"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 33"
