This listing is for a vintage 1970's men's polyester plaid suit jacket.
This suit is made from a very soft double-knit polyester, which has an interesting plaid weave consisting of blue, brown and grey houndstooth patterning. The jacket has a 70's cut with wide lapels and pocket flaps. The front of the jacket has two grey marbled synthetic buttons, as well as three per cuff. It is partially lined in a blue synthetic fabric and the shoulders are padded.
Overall, the jacket is in used condition. The outside is in good shape with no rips, holes, tears, stains, missing or damaged buttons, etc. however, the inside has two repairs to the side seams (see photos).
Jacket bears brand and laundering labels. No size, fabric content, region of origin, or Union labels are present.
No size appears to be marked, so our measurements are as follow:
Across chest, pit to pit, buttoned, laid flat: 24"
Across waist, buttoned, laid flat: 23"
Sleeves, shoulder seam to end of cuff hem: 27"
Shoulders, seam to seam, across back: 19.5"
Overall length, bottom of collar seam to bottom hem, in back: 30.5"
