Vintage Men's SHARKSKIN? Jacket Coat

I'm not sure if the fabric is sharkskin. Not as vibrant in color as the third photo. It has a iridescent sheen to it.
Laying flat and buttoned, pit to pit is about 21 1/2".
It is missing a button and has soiling.
