Vintage "Made in Hong Kong" Chinese Tailored Silk Brocade long Smoking Dinner Jacket Robe. Size 44. Gorgeous multi color woven brocade pattern of Chinese scenes with trees, pagodas, boats & flowers on a black background. The cuffs, pockets, collar and lapels all edged with bright yellow piping.
Finished with a matching black belt.
This is not a flimsy robe. It is a beautifully tailored jacket style robe fully lined, with shoulder pads, 2 hip and 1 chest placket pockets, angle cut cuffs, with the cuffs, collar and shawl style lapel all stiffened with sizing.
This jacket is 50" long from shoulder to hem and sleeves are 24" long. Across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 18", from side seam to side seam is 24" at the chest, 24.5" at the hip and 28.5" at the hem. The sash belt is 1.75" wide by 72" long.
There is no content tag, but the fabric is unmistakably a gorgeous, smooth silk.
This item is in MINT vintage condition. Really lovely.
